Job summary

AERMOR LLC in Suffolk, VA is seeking an Azure Virtual Desktop System Administrator to manage Navy Flank Speed Azure desktop environments and related security devices. You will deploy VMs, monitor usage, and support the Tier 2 service desk to ensure security and availability.

Required: 5+ years IT with Azure, Windows admin, and Security+ or higher; ITIL knowledge; PowerShell skills; strong communication and attention to detail. Compensation ranges with benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with extensive Microsoft Azure usage.
• Experience as a Windows system administrator.
• CompTIA Security+ certification or higher required.
• Preferred: AZ-140, AZ-900, or AZ-104 certifications.
• Familiarity with ITIL framework.
• Understanding of cloud computing and networking.
• Hands-on PowerShell experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Azure virtual machines to support a large user base.
• Monitor session statistics and refine usage metrics for provisioning decisions.
• Provide technical support to the Enterprise Flank Speed Tier 2 service desk.
• Manage Windows images, Group Policy, and end-user software.
