Coforge is seeking a hands-on Azure Technical Architect to design and build next-generation Payments and Transaction Processing platforms, leveraging Azure, .NET, microservices, and AI/GenAI Architecture in Financial Services.

You will lead architecture, reviews, modernization, and AI-driven innovation, mentor engineers, and collaborate with teams to implement scalable, cloud-native solutions with Azure OpenAI and RAG frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of software engineering and solution architecture.
  • Strong hands-on Azure cloud-native development.
  • Experience delivering GenAI/AI solutions in FinTech/Payments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-native payment platforms on Microsoft Azure.
  • Architect scalable microservices, APIs, event-driven systems.
  • Participate in solution design, architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
  • Drive application modernization, integration strategy, scalability, performance, and resiliency.
  • Build and validate technical POCs for cloud and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of architectural decisions.
  • Mentor developers and technical leads through hands-on technical guidance.
  • Design and integrate AI-powered capabilities using Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG frameworks, and Agentic AI technologies.

Job Title: Azure Technical Architect - Payments Platform Modernization & AI Architecture

Experience: 15+ years

About the Role

Coforge is seeking a hands-on Azure Technical Architect to design and build next-generation Payments and Transaction Processing platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Azure, .NET, Microservices, Distributed Systems, and AI/GenAI Architecture, with proven experience delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions within Financial Services, FinTech, or Payments organizations.

This is a highly technical role requiring active involvement in architecture, solution design, engineering reviews, cloud modernization, and AI-driven innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-native payment platforms on Microsoft Azure.
  • Architect scalable microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.
