Job summary

ATC is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage SQL Server and Azure SQL, ensuring uptime and optimal performance for critical production systems. The role involves database design, data migration, and collaboration with developers across the enterprise.

You will implement and maintain data warehouses, validate data integrity, and support Power BI data services in a multifaceted IT environment. Strong customer service and production-focused experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 7 years of SQL Server database administration experience.
• 3 years of data analytics experience.
• 1 year of Azure database administration experience.
• 1 year of data warehouse experience.
• 4 years in database administration on production servers.
• Business systems analysis and design experience desired.
• Provides high quality and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide SQL Server and database operations support for production systems.
• Perform health checks to optimize database performance.
• Migrate and upgrade SQL Databases to new servers/versions.
• Design, develop, and maintain database schemas and data dictionaries.
• Deploy Azure SQL solutions and secure resources.
• Coordinate backups and restores with the backup team.
• Collaborate with developers and vendors to gather requirements and configure databases.
• Monitor availability and performance of Azure SQL and SQL Server.
