Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SQL clustering and database environments
• Implement backup, restoration, and replication strategies for database management
• Monitor database systems, perform capacity planning, and maintain data integrity
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of database infrastructure and processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; or three years of relevant experience in lieu of each year of education
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server on Azure/PostgreSQL administration
• Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule to provide 24/7 support
• Strong analytic skills and experience with database performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tools like Qlik Attunity, SolarWinds DPA, and Delphix
• Knowledge of PowerShell programming
• Familiarity with backup and restore tools such as EMC Networker and CommVault
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions
• Strong communication and analytical skills
