Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Solutions Architect Principal to lead Azure cloud design, security, and governance for Veterans Affairs initiatives. This 100% U.S.-based remote role emphasizes scalable, highly available architectures and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work with the Enterprise Architect to align with standards, manage risk, and deliver cost-aware solutions while mentoring engineers and guiding pre-bid activities.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure and services.
• Experience with large-scale, high-availability, and scalable cloud architecture.
• Strong understanding of Azure security architecture, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading cross-functional technical teams.
• Knowledge of Azure cost management, budgeting, and optimization strategies.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development of complete cloud-based solutions meeting customer requirements.
• Collaborate with BD, capture, and proposal teams to optimize proposed solutions and pricing.
• Coordinate staffing for pre-bid and proposal activities and assign technical personnel.
• Design, implement, and govern secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures aligned with standards.
• Provide SME guidance to meet customer technical, schedule, and cost requirements within risk parameters.
• Mentor engineers and architects while fostering knowledge sharing and architectural governance.
• Ensure solutions align with organizational objectives and enterprise cloud governance models.
