Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Azure Solutions Architect for the Federal Civilian Division. You will design and deploy Azure cloud services across enterprise environments, combining Azure expertise with client leadership and mentorship.

Requires 8+ years of experience, AZ-305, and active Top Secret clearance. Hybrid work in the National Capital Region with some travel to data centers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise IT, cloud or hybrid environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Active Top Secret level clearance is required.
• Ability to design Azure landing zones, governance, RBAC, policy, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and configure Azure IaaS and PaaS across enterprise environments.
• Develop IaC strategies using ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Create landing zone design, governance, tagging, and cost controls.
• Lead Platform Services engineering, security, monitoring, and data protection.
• Support cloud operations and incident/change management in line with ITIL.
