Capitole is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Architect to lead the enterprise Azure platform and define cloud architecture strategy across governance, security, and cost optimization. You will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

The role focuses on designing Azure cloud environments, managing transitions from external providers, and driving best practices in IaC, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise Azure cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, IAM, security, and governance.
• Hands-on with IaC and monitoring, DR, backup, and operational resilience.
• Experience with cloud migrations or transitions.
• English level C1 in an international environment.

We are looking for an Azure Infrastructure Architect to join a global technology team and take ownership of a large-scale Azure Cloud Platform.

In this role, you will lead the transition of the Azure environment, defining the cloud architecture strategy while ensuring security, governance, scalability, operational excellence, and cost optimization across the platform.

What you\'ll do

• Lead the transition and technical ownership of an enterprise Azure platform from an external provider.
• Define and implement Azure architecture standards, governance, security, and operational best practices.
• Design and optimize Azure infrastructure to improve reliability, scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering teams to evolve the cloud platform.
• Support cloud services related to Azure Data Platform technologies, including Azure Databricks.
• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Implement monitoring, disaster recovery, backup, identity management, and operational resilience strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement of the Azure Cloud Platform and support future cloud initiatives.
• Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise Azure cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, Identity & Access Management (IAM), cloud security, and governance.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar).
• Experience with monitoring, disaster recovery, backup, and operational excellence in Azure.
• Experience supporting Azure Data Platform services such as Azure Databricks.
• Experience leading cloud platform ownership, migrations, or operational transitions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional infrastructure and security teams.
• English level C1 (international environment).
• Experience with FinOps and Azure cost optimization.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Hybrid model (Barcelona) or Full Remote within Spain
