Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned software architect to own end‑to‑end architecture from proof of concept through production. You will translate business goals into scalable, reliable architecture and communicate technical direction clearly to engineers and non‑technical stakeholders.

You will design and build software in C# and Angular, maintain architecture documentation, and own the Azure environment with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8–10+ years designing and implementing software with architecture/leadership roles.
• Proven balance of hands‑on development with architectural leadership.
• Strong understanding of software architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end architecture from POC through production.
• Translate goals into scalable architecture and communicate direction.
• Design and build software in C# and Angular, set technical standards.
• Maintain architecture docs and system diagrams for the team.
• Own the Azure environment and deploy workloads into production.
• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in Azure.
• Champion security practices and SOC 2 compliance in Azure.
• Drive AI‑assisted development tooling and adoption.
• Lead code/design reviews and ensure adherence to standards.
• Benchmark and tune performance to meet SLA targets.
• Coach engineers and grow the team’s capabilities.
• Stay updated on tech trends and champion valuable ones.
