Job summary

Moultrie in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to keep Azure-based platforms fast, secure, and online. You will blend software engineering with operations and work with developers, product teams, and DevOps to design scalable architecture and automate deployments.

You will join a fast-paced team focused on reliability, observability, and incident response to ensure 24/7 availability for customers and partners.

Qualifications

3–5 years of SRE or similar role experience.
Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services.
Proven experience monitoring, debugging, and supporting large-scale distributed systems.
Strong background in CI/CD, performance diagnostics, and automation.
A creative, analytical mindset with a drive to improve complex systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

Responsibilities

Ensure uptime, reliability, and scalability across cloud environments.
Partner with development teams to design and run load, performance, and chaos testing.
Build, monitor, and optimize systems within Microsoft Azure.
Manage incident response, documenting issues for future prevention.
Continuously improve observability, automation, and performance tuning.
Lead post-incident reviews and drive long-term fixes
