Intel Corporation in the Seattle/Redmond area is seeking a Sales Application Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure to drive Intel technology adoption across Azure workloads. You will co-engineer solutions, secure design wins, and position Intel’s leadership on Azure in the market.
You will work with Microsoft engineering, sales and marketing teams as well as Intel stakeholders to align 1P and 3P workloads with Azure roadmap, optimize workloads, and influence product direction.
Job Description: Overview As an Intel Sales Application Engineer (SAE) focused on Microsoft Azure, you will operate at the intersection of technical innovation, customer engagement, and strategic influence. Your mission is to drive Intel technology adoption across Microsoft Azure’s first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) workloads. You’ll work closely with Microsoft engineering, sale and marketing teams as well as internal Intel stakeholders to co-engineer solutions, secure design wins, and position, market and sell Intel’s leadership on Azure in the market.
Lead technical engagements with Microsoft Azure to co-engineer solutions using Intel Xeon processors and accelerators. Drive Account management through cross-functional cross company teams to deliver on joint initiatives, from influencing all stakeholders, delivering joint value prop, proof-of-concepts to full-scale deployments. Align 1P and 3P workload opportunities by aligning Intel’s technology with Azure’s roadmap and customer needs. Optimize key workloads (e.g., AI, analytics, databases) for Intel platforms to demonstrate performance and TCO advantages. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Azure’s use of Intel hardware, coordinating with internal engineering teams. Build trusted relationships with Microsoft stakeholders, acting as a technical advisor and advocate for Intel. Influence Azure’s roadmap by aligning Intel’s product strategy with Microsoft’s infrastructure and service plans. Track competitive trends (AMD, NVIDIA, ARM) and position Intel’s value proposition effectively.
