Job summary

Nelnet, Inc. is seeking an Azure Platform Administrator to manage our cloud infrastructure, identities, and security controls in a hybrid environment. The role collaborates with security, networking and development teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate has extensive Azure experience, strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Terraform, and IaC tooling, and a focus on reliability and cost optimization within a regulated enterprise context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Azure administration experience.
• Experience with hybrid cloud integrations and on-premises connectors.
• Experience with security and governance in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Azure subscriptions, management groups, and resources.
• Manage identity, access, and RBAC configurations.
• Monitor health, performance, and cost; implement automation.
