Job summary

EY’s Government and Infrastructure Technology Organization seeks an experienced leader to drive large, complex government cloud programs in Azure Government. You will own outcomes across multiple workstreams, guide technical direction, and balance delivery, security, and platform health in government settings.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, capability development, and collaboration with product, engineering, and platform teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in engineering roles with private/public cloud IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
• Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Hands-on Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD delivery
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS)
• Strong networking knowledge (VNets, subnets, NSGs, routing)
• Cloud security principles including NIST/FedRAMP
• Identity and access management with Entra/Azure RBAC
• Windows and Linux admin, patching and hardening
• Scripting (PowerShell, Python)
• Agile delivery in government/secure environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of cloud platform and infrastructure capabilities across initiatives
• Set and guide technical direction for Azure Government platforms
• Establish DevSecOps practices and automation to improve quality
• Make informed trade-offs balancing speed, quality, risk
• Lead architecture and design reviews for standards alignment
• Oversee risk, dependency, and issue management
• Influence stakeholders to align priorities without direct authority
• Develop engineering talent through coaching and delegation
• Promote operational excellence and continuous improvement
