TEKsystems is seeking an Azure Platform Engineer in Plano, TX for a hybrid engagement. You will join a team responsible for building and supporting enterprise data platforms in Azure, focusing on infrastructure automation and platform engineering.

The ideal candidate has Terraform expertise, Azure infrastructure experience, and Python scripting skills to automate cloud data services across the organization. This is a contract role with onsite and remote considerations in a hybrid setting.

Azure Platform Engineer

Plano, TX

Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite

Must Work on Direct W2

18-24 Month Contract

We're looking for an Azure Platform Engineer to join a growing team responsible for building and supporting enterprise data platforms in Azure. This person will focus on infrastructure automation, platform engineering, and supporting cloud-based data services used across the organization.

The ideal candidate comes from a true platform engineering background and has experience building cloud infrastructure with Terraform, automating with Python, and supporting modern data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, BigQuery, or similar technologies.

Required Experience:

• Strong Terraform experience, including writing and maintaining reusable modules from scratch
• Hands-on Azure infrastructure and Azure-native services experience
• Python scripting and automation
• Experience supporting or engineering data platforms and data services environmentsInfrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation experience

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.24 - $70.24/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
