Job summary

atmosera is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Architect to own the technical vision for shared, multi-tenant cloud platforms delivering managed services to enterprise clients. You will design Azure-based solutions, break down initiatives, and drive architecture across teams.

You will mentor engineers, improve observability with Azure Monitor and KQL, and promote IaC, CI/CD practices to boost delivery velocity and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cloud engineering and architecture experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including its monitoring, automation, and platform services.
• Ability to break down complex work into scoped, delegable pieces and lead delivery through others.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Bicep or Terraform) and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate Azure-based solutions, breaking down complex initiatives into scoped, time-boxed spikes that engineering teams can execute independently.
• Set architectural direction for shared multi-tenant platforms, prioritizing reliability, security, and scalability.
• Partner with cross-functional and account teams to surface technical considerations early and shape what gets built and why.
• Strengthen platform observability through patterns built on Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL.
• Drive adoption of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting practices to improve delivery quality and team velocity.
• Mentor engineers on Azure architecture best practices and establish reusable architectural patterns across the platform.
