Job summary

EmergenceTek Group Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to own and mature the Azure platform within a high-growth healthcare technology setting.

You will design the landing zone, establish governance and security baselines, and implement repeatable, version-controlled provisioning. This is a full-time W2 role embedded with the client IT team, reporting into their VP of IT.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in cloud engineering with Azure focus.
• Experience designing landing zones and governance.
• Proven IaC with Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience with Entra ID and access management.
• Ability to design secure, scalable multi-site cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Azure architecture, landing zone, governance, and platform standards.
• Design scalable, secure cloud solutions for a multi-site organization.
• Build cloud reference architectures, standards, diagrams, and documentation.
• Own health, reliability, and performance of the Azure platform across compute, storage, and PaaS.
• Lead IaC and CI/CD pipelines; implement security controls and cost governance.
• Design and manage identity/access with Entra ID and RBAC.
