Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Network Security Engineer to safeguard our WAN/LAN, voice, and cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and Microsoft Azure security.

You will partner with third-party providers and internal IT leadership to defend the network and cloud environment, maintain firewalls and access policies, and ensure secure backups and disaster recovery across on-premises and Azure-hosted resources.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals including threat detection and firewall management.
• Experience with Azure security tools and services (Azure AD/Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, NSGs, Defender for Cloud/Sentinel).
• Experience patching and vulnerability remediation with enterprise tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardening efforts for network and cloud environments against malware, ransomware and intrusions.
• Design, implement and maintain security controls in Microsoft Azure (AAD/Entra ID, CA, MFA, RBAC).
• Monitor alerts from Defender for Cloud, SIEM, and partner tooling; escalate high-risk issues promptly.
• Configure Cisco Meraki firewall settings, network segmentation, and least-privilege access groups.
