Job summary

United Community Bank is seeking a Senior Azure Network Engineer to manage and optimize cloud-based network services in Microsoft Azure. You will ensure high availability, security, and performance for enterprise environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, while maintaining secure configurations.

Minimum 8+ years in network engineering and 3+ years in Azure networking; relevant certifications (CCNP/CCIE or Azure certs) are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of network engineering experience.
• 3+ years hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure networking solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, and Internet systems.
• Setup and monitor backups with test restores.
• Administration of Azure cloud-based servers as a primary duty.
• Advise and recommend cloud server changes.
• Manage cloud server cost and suggest improvements.
• Maintain DR site and data replication.
• Manage anti-virus for all servers and clients.
• Setup client PCs and network user security.
• Enforce network security policies and monitor access.
• Monitor, analyze, and tune network performance.
• Troubleshoot network problems and escalate to vendors.
• Ensure connectivity across LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Provide support and administration of Office 365 Exchange.
