Job summary

Beacon Hill Technologies seeks a senior network engineer to join a highly collaborative team supporting a large-scale hybrid infrastructure with a strong focus on Azure cloud technologies. You will design and implement Azure networking, ExpressRoute, and enterprise routing while guiding teammates.

The role balances project work with operational duties, requiring leadership, clear communication, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of network engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Azure networking experience with VNets, subnets, UDRs, Azure peering, Route Server.
• CCNA-level knowledge or willingness to obtain CCNA within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Join a highly collaborative engineering team supporting a large-scale hybrid infrastructure with Azure cloud technologies.
• Own Azure network architecture, cloud connectivity, ExpressRoute and enterprise routing projects.
• Provide operational engineering support and mentor teammates in this senior role.

Required Skills

• Must have at least 5+ years of network engineering experience including traditional data networking and cloud unified network communications experience in enterprise environments
• Must have Azure networking experience including designing, building, maintaining and troubleshooting Azure VNets, Azure subnets (SNETs), UDRs, Azure peering, Azure Route Server, Cloud ShellCisco switching and routing experience
• CCNA-level knowledge or must be able and willing to obtain CCNA within 18 months of hire
• Strong knowledge of best practices and troubleshooting within things such as: TCP/IP, IP subnetting, VLANs, Ethernet, DHCP, DNS, SIP, QoS, IOS, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, HSRP
• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Ability to travel to local sites as needed

• If someone has experience with Terraform or Bicep scripting that is a strongly desired
• Experience with any of the following Cisco technologies: Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless 9800, Cisco ACI
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Azure Virtual Network Manager
• Strongly desire someone with experience designing Hybrid cloud networks
• Healthcare industry experience a plus
