Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer in New Jersey to install and support LANs/WANs, administer Azure cloud infrastructure, and manage cloud costs and DR capabilities. The role emphasizes security policies, performance tuning, and backup/testing procedures across on-premises and cloud environments.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in network engineering, Azure networking experience, and relevant certifications (CCNP/CCIE, Azure).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of network engineering experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure networking solutions.
Azure certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Networking certifications: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
Experience with: Terraform, Azure DevOps, Zero Trust architecture

Responsibilities

Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, and Internet systems.
Setup and monitoring of backups with test restores.
Administration of Azure cloud-based servers will be a primary duty for this position.
Advise and recommend cloud server changes.
Manage cloud server cost and recommend improvements.
Maintain DR site and replication of data.
Manage Anti-Virus for all servers and clients.
Setup of all client PCs.
Setup and manage all network user security.
