Job summary

NRI, Inc. is seeking experienced Application Developers to join a major system modernization initiative, replacing legacy pension administration technology with a modern, Azure-hosted platform.

You will design, code, test, and review components, build APIs and automation workflows, translate designs into working software, and collaborate across teams throughout the SDLC to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and unit test application components for a major system modernization effort
• Develop, enhance, and maintain application components to meet functional and technical requirements
• Build APIs, system interfaces, and automation workflows to support integration across modernized and legacy platforms
• Write clear, actionable user stories and help maintain a prioritized development backlog
• Conduct code reviews and submit pull requests for staff review
• Analyze business processes and translate functional designs, documentation standards, and acceptance criteria into working software
• Translate technical specifications into maintainable, production-ready code
• Collaborate with technical staff, analysts, testers, and project managers throughout the SDLC
• Manage multiple concurrent development tasks while meeting established project timelines
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support legacy system understanding (architecture, dependencies, integration points) as needed during transition
