Job summary

CACI International seeks a Senior Microsoft Cloud Security Engineer to secure and optimize our Microsoft cloud environment, including Azure, Entra, Defender, Purview, and Office 365. You will lead CA policy development and collaborate with security engineers, cloud architects, and incident responders to ensure a resilient, compliant tenant.

The role requires expert hands-on experience, DHS EOD Public Trust eligibility, and a strong background in Zero Trust and data protection.

Qualifications

• Ability to Obtain DHS EOD Public Trust Clearance
• Expert-level hands-on experience deploying, managing, and securing Azure, Entra, Defender, Purview, Office 365, and Microsoft 365 in large enterprises.
• Deep understanding of Conditional Access Policies (CAPs), Azure AD/Entra, and Zero Trust principles.
• Proven track record implementing and managing the full Defender ecosystem and Purview (DLP, labels, eDiscovery).
• Advanced proficiency writing KQL for detection, investigation, response, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Secure the Microsoft cloud tenant; advise on architecture and secure designs for Azure, O365, and M365.
• Lead the development and enforcement of Conditional Access Policies for personas, groups, and apps.
• Act as SME in optimizing Defender suite components (Defender for Endpoint, Cloud, Identity, Office 365).
• Implement Purview data classification, DLP, and eDiscovery workflows.
• Design and run Kusto queries for Azure Sentinel, Defender, and log analytics.
• Review security controls via vulnerability assessments, pentests, and red/blue team engagements.
• Guide cross-functional teams on governance and compliance best practices.
