Job summary

Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc. (APC) is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Specialist to design, deploy, and manage secure Azure-based solutions onsite in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on automation, IaC, and cloud security to optimize performance and reliability.

The candidate will lead implementation across compute, storage, networking, and PaaS, enforce governance with Azure Policy and Key Vault, and mentor teams on best practices. AZ-104/AZ-900 certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Azure infrastructure services.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerShell, ARM templates, and automation practices.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure concepts (VMs, App Services, Automation, Azure Policy, Key Vault).
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-900).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Own Azure infrastructure implementation for compute, storage, networking components, and Platform as a Service.
• Define and enforce Infrastructure as Code patterns using PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure Automation.
• Implement and enforce Azure security best practices and compliance standards across infrastructure services.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex infrastructure issues and drive reliability improvements.
• Establish monitoring and operational practices to maintain system performance and reduce service degradation.
• Implement and enforce governance controls using Azure Policy and Key Vault.
• Conduct policy audits and ensure compliance across Azure resources.
• Standardize and analyze Azure resource usage; support cost optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with developers, operations, and security personnel to support technology strategy.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure, with a proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. You will be responsible for driving our cloud initiatives, optimizing infrastructure for efficiency and performance, and supporting the overall technology strategy. This role requires expertise in automation, scripting, and cloud security best practices.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Job Requisition # 40203

A reasonable estimate of the Base Salary for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 per year. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
