Job summary

Capital Group is seeking an Information Security Engineer III in New York to own and advance securing Azure services and the cloud strategy. You will reduce operational risk and ensure secure Azure adoption across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in computer science or information security with 5+ years in security, including IAM, cryptography, network protocols, and secure coding. Proficiency with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in core security principles across multiple domains including IAM, cryptography, and network security protocols.
• Experience securing large scale cloud environments, Azure security controls, and compliance requirements.
• Hands-on with security frameworks like NIST SP 800-53 and CIS Benchmarks to harden systems.
• Experience expanding Terraform and GitOps as the default provisioning path; build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
