Job summary

Franklin Fitch is seeking a senior Infrastructure Cloud Architect to lead an Azure-first hybrid infrastructure transformation for a leading law firm. The role combines architecture direction with hands-on design, build, and troubleshooting across Azure networking, compute, storage, security, and resiliency.

The incumbent will shape infrastructure standards, roadmaps, and architecture patterns while supporting migration from legacy data centers to Azure IaaS and new colocation environments,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering, architecture, or enterprise technology experience.
• Solid networking and security fundamentals.
• Experience with compute, storage, virtualization, identity, RBAC, and governance.
• Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to communicate architectural decisions to technical and business leadership.
• Hands-on capability to design, build, configure, implement, and troubleshoot infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Azure and hybrid-cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop infrastructure standards, architecture patterns, roadmaps, and technical designs.
• Work across Azure networking, VNets, routing, DNS, ExpressRoute, private endpoints, firewalls, load balancing, and segmentation.
• Architect compute, storage, virtualization, security, identity, and resiliency solutions.
• Support the law firm’s transition from legacy data centers toward Azure IaaS and new colocation environments.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and serve as a senior technical escalation point.
• Develop architecture diagrams and Infrastructure as Code.
