Job summary

VDart is seeking a Senior BI professional with 8+ years of experience to drive data modeling, enterprise-grade architecture, and secure RDMS deployments. Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and Azure data services is required, with hands-on big data tools like HDInsight, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.

Proficiency in R and Azure ML is desired, along with Java/Python programming. All candidate information will be kept confidential under EEO guidelines.

Job Description

Below is the Job Description:

8+ years of Business Intelligence experience

Demonstrable skills in data modeling, database design, and system architecture with a focus on building secure applications at enterprise scale

Substantial experience with RDMS development, testing and deployment, with a particular focus on SQL Server 2008 R2 - 2016

Expertise with T-SQL and familiarity with SQL variants

Substantial experience with front-end reporting - SSRS

Working knowledge and/or understanding of Azure-based tools and services that support data storage - Azure SQL, Blob and Table Storage (Must have)

Implementations using Azure HDInsight, Data Factory and Azure SQL Database (Must have)

Having hands-on with Big data technologies (Hortwonworks, Cloud based HDInsight), Hive, Pig, Spark, Kafka (Must have)

Having good hands on experience in R programming and Azure ML (Must have)

Programming languages - Java/Python with experience
