Qualifications

• Experience migrating and modernizing hybrid Azure/on-prem environments.

Solutions Architect — Hybrid (Alpharetta, GA)

A $2B+ global manufacturer is hiring a hands-on Solutions Architect for its Infrastructure team, reporting to the VP of Infrastructure.

This is not a whiteboard-and-documentation role. It's 70% delivery, 30% design. You'll build, automate, and implement across a hybrid Azure and on-prem environment, then hand it off working, not just designed.

Azure, SAP and ERP integration experience is essential to this role, not a preference.

You'll be the infrastructure bridge between Business Applications and Azure, designing and supporting the secure data flows that keep SAP (or a comparable ERP such as Oracle) talking to cloud and on-prem systems. If you don't have ERP integration under your belt, this one isn't for you.

What you'll own:

• Hybrid infrastructure across Azure, VMware/Hyper-V, and on-prem, including migration and modernization work. Identity and security: Active Directory, Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, MFA, PAM, and Zero Trust principles.
• Infrastructure as code via Terraform, ARM, or Bicep, with PowerShell automation and CI/CD contribution.
• ERP infrastructure and integration, keeping SAP or similar platforms connected securely and reliably to the rest of the estate.

What you'll need:

• 5-8+ years in Infrastructure, Cloud, or Solutions Engineering, with strong hands-on Azure experience in a hybrid environment.
• A track record of implementing solutions, not just architecting them on paper. Solid grounding in AD/Entra ID, networking fundamentals, and IaC tooling.
• Hands-on exposure to ERP platform support or integration, SAP strongly preferred.

This suits someone who's grown into architecture from the infrastructure side and still wants to be in the weeds, not someone who's moved fully into strategy.
