Job summary

Castalia Systems seeks an Enclave Administrator (Microsoft Azure Operations Systems Administrator) Tech IV to support intelligence community enclaves in the Azure environment. Onsite work in the Lorton, VA area, coordinating with the Microsoft account team to ensure deployments stay on schedule.

Responsibilities include system health monitoring, patching, data migration tasks, and enforcing security and OA documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or industry equivalent experience.
• 7 to 10 years demonstrated performance in related technology.
• Resources locally sourced in the DMV area and required to commute on site in the Lorton, VA.
• Must have Tech IV level systems administration background in Microsoft Azure hosted environments
• Must have experience supporting C4 operational environments (SAP Experience preferred).
• Experience managing customer relationships
• Ability to self-manage for maintenance of workloads and ensuring appropriate support of all systems/applications/workloads within the enclave (operational boundary)
• Experience with: Direct Platform Support (Windows Workstation/Server), Active Directory OU and GPO Management, MECM, Azure Solutions Management, AVD support, Azure deployment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and delegates application-related responsibilities to Customer Mission Applications Administrator (MAA).
• Monitors system health, performs routine maintenance, and documents new workflows.
• Manages ITSM escalation and triage.
• Troubleshooting and remediation with system owners and teams.
• Perform patching and vulnerability remediation; identify end-of-life replacements.
• Execute data migration tasks and data integrity checks.
• Participate in design of information systems and support technical strategy.
