Job summary

Safran in North America, United States, New York, is seeking a System & Network Administrator to support and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure. You will manage network infrastructure, Windows Server environments, Azure networking, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 workloads, while providing Tier 2 end‑user support and collaborating with Cybersecurity on modernization projects.

Responsibilities include administering Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls, VMware virtualization, and Azure/365

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
3–7 years of experience administering enterprise network and server infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of Cisco switching technologies, Palo Alto firewalls, Windows Server 2019/2022/2025, AD, Azure, Entra ID, and 365 administration.
Experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and enterprise networking.
VMware virtualization experience and Windows-based enterprise environments.
PowerShell scripting familiarity; Linux/Unix is a plus.
Excellent communication and ability to work with technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Administer enterprise network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, VPN connectivity, routing, and troubleshooting.
Manage Windows Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and authentication services.
Administer Azure services including networking, virtual networks, security groups, identity services, and cloud resources.
Manage Microsoft 365 services including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and licensing.
Support VMware virtualization with VMs, storage, snapshots, and maintenance.
Provide Tier 2 end-user support for desktops, laptops, and applications.
Participate in infrastructure upgrades, security initiatives, disaster recovery, and cloud migrations.
Monitor system health, backups, and infrastructure availability.
