Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a security-focused Azure/DevOps engineer to design and maintain cloud infrastructure and automated delivery pipelines. This role collaborates with software teams to enforce secure development practices and robust deployment standards.

You will manage Azure networking, RBAC, and security tooling while implementing monitoring and resilience strategies across multiple environments. A strong background in cloud engineering and governance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in Azure administration, cloud engineering, DevOps, or related disciplines.
• Experience designing and supporting Azure environments and enterprise hosting platforms.
• Azure certifications preferred (Administrator, Security Engineer, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with Azure Front Door, App Gateway, WAF, Bastion, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure standards, governance policies, naming conventions, tagging strategies, and environment management practices.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes, including environment provisioning, gates, rollback, and release management.
• Own Azure networking architecture: virtual networks, private endpoints, VPNs, DNS, segmentation, secure remote access.
• Manage Azure RBAC, managed identities, service principals, privileged access, and least-privilege models.
• Collaborate with software engineering to implement secure coding, controls, and development workflows.
• Configure and manage SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, code quality controls, and vulnerability management.
• Design and support perimeter security solutions: WAF, Front Door, Application Gateway, related tech.
• Implement monitoring and telemetry using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, etc.
