Job summary

Insight Global seeks an Azure DevSecOps Lead Consultant to helm a large-scale digital transformation and eCommerce modernization initiative. You will serve as the central technical authority between development, infrastructure, security, and deployment teams in a complex Azure environment.

The role requires deep Azure DevSecOps expertise, rapid assessment of current state, gap identification, and leadership through implementation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps or related roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Deep expertise designing Azure DevSecOps pipelines and deployment frameworks.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline design and automation; IaC, Azure Resource Management, security and governance.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise implementations (3–5M+ programs).
• Ability to evaluate environments and independently define best-practice solutions.
• Proven ability to influence engineers, architects, infrastructure teams, and external partners.
• Experience with SaaS-based implementations or enterprise platform transformations.
• Background in eCommerce platforms and integrations.
• Experience with middleware architectures connecting SaaS platforms and backend ERP systems.
• Familiar with .NET, Logic Apps, API Management, Next.js, Vercel.
• Willingness to travel approximately 2x/year.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing Azure DevSecOps processes, pipelines, and deployment methodologies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across dev, QA, and prod.
• Establish DevSecOps best practices for Azure-based applications and integrations.
• Guide development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure consistent deployment standards.
• Serve as the subject matter expert on Azure DevSecOps across multiple workstreams.
• Define remediation plans for identified gaps and drive execution through completion.
• Partner with internal teams and vendors to improve release management, automation, and governance.
• Review and optimize infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation.
• Ensure secure movement of code and infrastructure changes across environments.
• Provide hands-on guidance when teams encounter implementation challenges.

A client of Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Azure DevSecOps Lead Consultant to join a large-scale digital transformation and eCommerce modernization initiative. This individual will serve as the central technical authority between application development, infrastructure, security, and deployment teams, helping establish, refine, and govern DevSecOps practices across a complex Azure environment.

This is not a role for someone who needs direction. The ideal candidate will bring deep Azure DevSecOps expertise, quickly assess the current state, identify gaps, define best practices, and lead teams through implementation. They will act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on technical leader.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing Azure DevSecOps processes, pipelines, and deployment methodologies and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Design and implement secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across development, QA, and production environments.
• Establish DevSecOps best practices for Azure-based applications and integrations.
• Guide application development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure consistent deployment standards.
