Job summary

Idea Entity in Herndon, VA seeks a Junior Azure DevOps Engineer/Network Engineer to help design and deploy our digital workspace platform with portals, dashboards, and workflows.

The role is hybrid from our Herndon office with two telework days per week and requires US citizenship with no sponsorship. You will collaborate with engineers to implement secure DevSecOps practices and optimize cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of IT experience with Azure stack and DevSecOps.
• Experience designing Azure applications and DevSecOps infrastructure.
• US Citizenship required; sponsorship not available.
• Experience with security testing tools such as Fortify, SonarQube, CAST.

Responsibilities

• Design and provision Azure infrastructure for full-stack apps.
• Provision cloud apps for availability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Set up development and testing environments.
• Implement DevSecOps infrastructure for developers.
• Follow secure software design practices.
• Apply disciplined software engineering principles.
• Collaborate with development and platform engineers.
• Develop automation tools with the team.
• Communicate across the team.
