Job summary

Greenheck Group is seeking an experienced DevOps/Release Engineer to design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, automating packaging, validation, and deployment across Dev, Test, and Production environments.

You will own the environment promotion workflow, enforce quality gates, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy secure cloud infrastructure on Azure, with automated security scans and governance throughout the pipeline.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/CE or equivalent work experience required.
• 4–6 years of hands-on DevOps or release engineering experience with ownership of CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven expertise with Azure DevOps (ADO), including YAML pipeline authoring, release pipelines, environment management, and test plan integration.
• Experience managing environment promotion workflows (Dev → Test → Production) with gates, quality checks, and rollback capabilities.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (C#, PowerShell or Python) for deployment automation, environment configuration, and pre/post-deployment validation.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux Server environments.
• Experience with version control and branching strategies for multiple streams.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES/SCADA or manufacturing platforms; ERP/MES experience is a plus.
• OpenShift/Redhat experience preferred.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates).
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes for supporting services adjacent to ERP/MES.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate packaging, validation, and deployment of enterprise configurations.
• Own and operate the environment promotion workflow (Dev → Test → Production) with quality gates and release controls.
• Develop and maintain automated test and validation frameworks for source code packages with integration checks (SAP, DataHub, Kafka, Bartender).
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to establish branching strategies, PR workflows, and versioning conventions for parallel workstreams.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code and configuration management for enterprise platforms across Dev, Test, and Production tiers.
• Partner with Architecture to define deployment standards, cutover runbooks, and rollback procedures.
• Support post-deployment monitoring and incident response for enterprise platforms and diagnose failures.
• Maintain deployment docs, release notes, and ADO pipeline definitions.
• Contribute to DevOps maturity by reducing manual effort and shortening lead times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy secure Azure cloud infra.
• Leverage Wiz to monitor vulnerabilities across cloud, containers, and apps.
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD, including automated scans and compliance checks.
• Ensure infrastructure, apps, and data comply with GDPR and SOC 2.
• Implement cloud security controls and access management.
• Perform regular security audits and threat assessments.
