Job summary

Merchants Fleet is seeking a visionary DevOps Manager/Lead to shape and scale our cloud-first DevOps practice. You will mentor engineers, set strategy for Azure-based delivery, and actively contribute to building modern CI/CD pipelines. Remote options are available, with East Coast preference for collaboration.

You will lead a small, high-performing team, own the roadmap, and partner across architecture, security, and product teams to improve reliability, security, and delivery velocity.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on DevOps leadership experience and people management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a 2–5 engineer DevOps team with mentorship and ownership.
• Define and execute Azure DevOps strategy and roadmap.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Drive cloud modernization and secure, scalable architectures.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with ARM, Bicep, Terraform.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and product to improve delivery velocity.
