Job summary

Fiserv is seeking a DevOps Engineer for the Financial Crimes group. The role focuses on bridging development and operations to design, deploy, and run secure, scalable Azure infrastructure and delivery pipelines that enable rapid software delivery.

You will implement IaC with ARM, Terraform or Azure Bicep, automate deployments with PowerShell/Bash/Python, and collaborate with developers, QA and security to support sprint delivery and production operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software/infrastructure delivery or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS services.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like ARM, Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Bash or Python.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and agile delivery.
• Familiarity with source control, code reviews and unit/integration tests.
• Experience with .NET web apps or collaboration with .NET teams.
• Knowledge of web technologies and SQL Server basics.
• Understanding of networking in Azure and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage Azure cloud infrastructure for Financial Crimes apps.
• Implement and maintain IaC to automate provisioning of resources.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Automate deployment tasks using scripting languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sprint delivery.
• Integrate automated tests into pipelines and support TDD/BDD.
• Monitor performance and cost with Azure Monitor and cost tools.
• Enforce cloud security best practices and governance controls.
• Design backup and disaster recovery strategies.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to technical design and runbooks; document procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement of pipelines and observability.
