Job summary

KD Pharma is looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to support the Azure infrastructure, security and operational design of a Microsoft-based data platform. The engagement begins with a 6-week Discovery phase and hours totaling 45–60, with potential to extend into a larger implementation engagement.

The role requires hands-on Azure expertise, collaboration with architects and data engineers, and the ability to work in a lean environment with limited documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud, infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Entra ID and hybrid identity management.
• Proficient in IaC using Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Good knowledge of security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Review Azure/hybrid infrastructure and contribute to target architecture, PoC scope, implementation planning and estimates.
• Design and improve Azure and hybrid infrastructure in line with business and technical requirements.
• Support cloud networking, including site-to-site VPN, Virtual WAN/hub-and-spoke architectures, Azure Firewall and Bastion.
• Assist identity and access management across Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory.
• Contribute to cloud security, credential and secrets-management practices.
• Improve infrastructure monitoring, backup and disaster recovery across hybrid infrastructure.
• Build and improve infrastructure automation, CI/CD and IaC practices using Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Support legacy Windows Server, SQL Server and on-premises virtualization while contributing to modernization.
• Contribute to cloud architecture, governance, platform standards and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout Discovery and implementation.
