Job summary

High Country Search Group is seeking an Azure DevOps/Cloud Engineer for a Denver-area hybrid role at Greenwood Village. The engineer will help modernize a real-time, multi-tenant platform on Azure with Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tooling.

You will improve automation, observability, and developer experience while partnering with product teams. The role offers a 4-day in-office schedule, a base salary in the 110k–140k range with potential up to 150k for exceptional candidates, plus benefits

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in Azure DevOps or Azure Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS networking), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/OpenTofu)
• Proven CI/CD pipeline experience with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD alongside Helm and Kustomize
• Experience with tooling and observability consolidation (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Datadog)
• Basic scripting proficiency in Bash or Python
• AI-forward approach (utilizing tools like GitHub Copilot, Claude, or MCP servers to accelerate workflows and information gathering)

Responsibilities

• Hands-on engineering to modernize an Azure-based distributed platform.
• Build automation, containerized ecosystems, and self-service developer platforms.
• Consolidate tooling for a clear production view and reduce friction.
