Job summary

Brooksource seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team and evolve a modern cloud and container platform. You will focus on reliability, automation, and scalability to help development teams build, deploy, and operate applications.

The role emphasizes Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD automation, with hands-on work and strong collaboration across stakeholders. You will drive improvements and contribute to architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Platform or Cloud engineering.
• Strong hands-on Azure and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud and containerized infra in Azure.
• Support and optimize Kubernetes-based platforms and deployments.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins X and related tools.
• Build and manage Docker workloads and containers.
• Increase automation across the platform and reduce manual work.
• Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and deployment issues.
• Collaborate with developers and architects on scalable solutions.
• Contribute to architecture decisions with ADRs and diagrams.
• Communicate risks, decisions and status to stakeholders.
• Work semi-independently to drive initiatives to completion.
• Evolve DevOps practices and platform standards.
