Job summary

Integres, LLC is seeking an experienced Azure Database Engineer to support Minnesota’s CCWIS modernization, migrating data from 87 counties into an Azure Data Lakehouse for a statewide platform. Remote/hybrid work with Saint Paul, MN area.

You will design and maintain Azure databases, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on secure, scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing and implementing Azure databases and Data Lakes.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Oracle, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Azure monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and security (RBAC, encryption, network security).
• Knowledge of data modeling, schema design, indexing, and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, communication, and mentoring skills.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Database Engineer to support Minnesota's Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) modernization initiative. This project involves consolidating data from 87 county databases into a centralized Azure Data Lakehouse to support a new statewide child welfare platform.

The Azure Database Engineer will design, develop, implement, and maintain Azure databases and data lakes while ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing data solutions. This role will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor other Database Engineers.

Interview Process
