Job summary

Ledelsea is seeking a Senior Azure Database Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale Azure database and Data Lakehouse solutions. This hands-on role requires deep Azure cloud expertise and 12+ years of experience.

Onsite in Minnesota with relocation welcome. The successful candidate will architect Azure SQL Database, Data Lake, and Lakehouse solutions, drive data modeling, performance tuning, and CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineers while delivering

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in database architecture, data platforms.
• Experience with Azure SQL Database, Data Lake, Databricks and ADF.
• Experience with Oracle Database and enterprise data migration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, Monitor, CLI, PowerShell, and ARM Templates.
• Expertise in data modeling, schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instances, Elastic Pools, backup/recovery, and Geo-Replication.
• Understanding of RBAC, encryption, network security, and cloud governance.
• Knowledge of Teradata Data Warehouse is a plus.
