Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a Database Analyst to design and build an Azure-based data lakehouse in Conyers, GA. You will develop scalable data pipelines and AI-ready datasets to support business analytics and reporting.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data quality and governance, and delivering governed data products for BI and AI training workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience in data science, analytics, CS or related field.
• 3+ years hands-on data engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud data platform implementation.
• Experience designing/implementing a greenfield data platform or lakehouse is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components and Azure data services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an Azure-based data lakehouse to support analytics, reporting and AI/ML initiatives.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes for diverse data sources.
• Create AI-ready datasets and curated data products for BI and AI workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate business logic and deliver meaningful data insights.
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines for performance and cost efficiency.
