  • Collaborate with BI developers to ensure alignment between semantic models and reporting layers

Security, Monitoring & DevOps

  • Configure and enforce Row-Level Security (RLS), Column-Level Security (CLS), and Object-Level Security (OLS)
  • Monitor pipeline and platform performance using Fabric’s built-in tools; proactively address bottlenecks
  • Take part in source control and deployment workflows using GitHub and Azure DevOps

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business architects, data architects, and analysts to translate business requirements into data engineering solutions
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and reliability of analytics platforms across the org

What Success Looks Like:

  • Unified data pipelines are operational, performant, and fully automated across the enterprise
  • Business teams are empowered with fast, secure access to data via optimized Direct Lake models
  • Fabric environments are monitored, governed, and continuously improved to ensure performance and security
  • Engineering delivery cycles are fast, version-controlled, and production-ready with minimal tech debt
