Job summary

NAC is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. The role focuses on automated, scalable pipelines across an enterprise data stack and enabling advanced analytics and reporting.

You will collaborate with IT leadership and data governance teams to ensure high-quality, secure data and efficient data loading into lakehouse architectures. Seattle office-based, full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in building data pipelines and cloud data solutions on Azure.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data integration workflows on Azure.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to support reporting, analytics, and ML.
• Build ingestion patterns from various sources including apps, APIs, databases, and file feeds.
• Implement scheduling and automation to ensure reliable data loads with minimal manual intervention.
• Support Fabric solutions, organize data using OneLake, and enable Power BI reporting.
• Monitor performance, optimize data architectures, and troubleshoot data workflows.
