Job summary

Mobis Parts America, LLC. is seeking a Data Engineer III, Cloud to design, build, and maintain secure cloud data pipelines on Azure in Fountain Valley, CA. You will collaborate with BI developers, DBAs, analysts, and infra teams to ensure scalable data platforms.

You will implement end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows, support on-premises and cloud data sources, and optimize performance while expanding data warehouse and data lake architectures. Strong SQL, Python, and PowerShell skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4 - 7 years of data engineering experience (Required)
• 3 - 5 years of Azure cloud experience (Preferred)
• Experience with Power BI environments
• Experience migrating on-premises systems to Azure
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Required)
• Experience with: Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure ExpressRoute, and Azure Virtual Networks
• Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, ETL / ELT, and data warehousing
• Experience with Star Schema / Dimensional Modeling
• Scripting: Python, PowerShell, SQL T-SQL / PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and scalable data flows
• Build automated batch and near real-time data integration processes
• Integrate on-premises and cloud data sources
• Troubleshoot and optimize data workflows; tune performance
• Design and maintain data warehouse and data lake architectures
• Develop logical and physical data models
• Optimize database schemas, indexes, and partitioning
• Support historical data retention and archival requirements
• Operate and improve core Azure services powering the platform
• Monitor availability and performance; handle maintenance; respond to incidents with root-cause analysis
• Support CI/CD deployment and automation; develop operational scripts
• Provide technical support to business and development teams
