CACI International Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer in the Arlington area to design, build, and operate enterprise data platforms in Microsoft Azure.

The role focuses on data architecture, integration patterns, and end-to-end data pipelines across batch, real-time, and event-driven processing. You will work with architects, analysts, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to implement Azure-native services (Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Functions) and ensure data quality, governance,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of data engineering, data architecture, or ETL/ELT experience.
Strong SQL and data warehousing skills; experience with Azure data services.

Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-scale data pipelines and ETL/ELT solutions.
Develop data architectures supporting batch, real-time, and event-driven processing.
Design data models, data flows, integration patterns, and data storage solutions.
Integrate data from databases, APIs, files, applications, and enterprise systems.
Develop and support Azure data solutions using Synapse, Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Functions, Logic Apps, and Event Hubs.
Implement secure data solutions with RBAC, Key Vault, private endpoints, and Entra ID.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and production data services.
Collaborate with architects, developers, analysts, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders.
