Job summary

Intone Inc is seeking an Azure Data Engineer for a remote six-month contract based in the United States. You will design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines on Azure, driving migration and modernization projects.

Responsibilities include SQL optimization, cloud security governance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to convert business needs into scalable data solutions. Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps is required, and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• 3+ years hands-on Azure experience
• Experience with large-scale data migration or modernization
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning
• Experience developing ETL/ELT data pipelines
• Understanding of cloud security and governance
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
