Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Azure-focused cloud engineer to lead migration and modernization initiatives across complex environments in the US. The role emphasizes building and governing scalable Azure infrastructure with IaC, AKS, and robust security practices.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, monitor deployments, and optimize costs while collaborating in an agile team. Strong scripting and cloud experience are essential in this on-site role in the Columbus area.

Qualifications

• Experience in cloud migration or modernization projects.
• Experience to migrate on-premises to cloud (Lift & Shift, Re-platforming, Re-architecting).
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services.
• Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS.
• Azure Storage (Blob, File, Queue).
• Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates / Bicep; Terraform.
• Experience with Networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers).
• Identity management (Azure AD / Entra ID).
• Disaster Recovery (Azure Backup, Site Recovery).
• Hands-on scripting: PowerShell / Azure CLI.
• Azure security best practices: Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), RBAC, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.
• Automate deployments, monitoring, and scaling.
• Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS).
• Use tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights.
• Optimize cloud cost using cost management tools and best practices.

Responsibilities
