Job summary

State of Nebraska is seeking a skilled Cloud Stack Developer (Azure) to design, develop, and maintain modern, scalable applications in Lincoln. You will work on full-stack development using Spring Boot, React, and MS SQL Server, exposing RESTful APIs and building dashboards with Power BI/SSRS.

The role requires 2+ years of coding experience, 5+ years preferred, and involves Azure deployments, secure authentication, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and two years of coding/IT experience (education can be substituted year-for-year).
• Strong experience with Spring Boot (Java) backend development and React frontend.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and API design (RESTful).
• Experience building microservices and familiarity with Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Spring Boot, React, and MS SQL Server.
• Develop and expose RESTful APIs to support internal and external integrations.
• Build responsive front-ends with React and create data dashboards using Power BI/SSRS.
• Implement secure authentication with Azure AD B2C and deploy apps via Azure services.
