Job summary

Seneca Resources seeks a Senior Solution Architect to design Azure-based architectures, data flows, and integration points for scalable, secure cloud solutions.

You will translate complex business requirements into detailed specifications, evaluate emerging technologies, and guide development teams to align with architectural standards.

The role requires TOGAF familiarity, strong communication, and proven DevOps experience in hybrid cloud environments across on-premises and Azure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in programming languages, databases, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 3+ years as Solution Architect focusing on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and IT architecture frameworks (TOGAF).

• Solution Design: Design and document technical solutions, including system architecture, data flows, and integration points. Develop end-to-end Azure-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and cloud computing, to identify opportunities for innovation. Implementation
• Oversight: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring solutions align with architectural standards.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring seamless solution delivery.
• Documentation: Create clear and concise technical documentation to support solution design and implementation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with programming languages, databases, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 3+ years as a Solution Architect with a focus on Microsoft Azure solutions. Proficiency in cloud engineering principles, DevOps practices, and automation tools. Familiarity with IT architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Extensive knowledge of Azure services such as Azure DevOps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Storage.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams. Experience with hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises and Azure services. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate).
