Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a Cloud Security Manager to lead a team of security professionals responsible for designing, maintaining, and managing alerts in Microsoft Azure. The role collaborates with multiple IT groups and vendors to proactively identify issues and enforce security best practices.

You will mentor engineers, develop runbooks, and contribute to disaster recovery planning while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, NIST, and related healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in computer science, information technology or specialized information security training.
• Professional security certifications (AZ-500, CISSP) are preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive information security experience.
• Previous team lead or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services (Identity protection, Data security).

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud processes, procedures, and playbooks.
• Define and enforce cloud security requirements for Azure.
• Lead security team members and coordinate security compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to improve security posture.
• Mentor engineers and assist in disaster recovery planning.
