Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber team in Boise, Idaho seeks a skilled cloud security consultant to deliver Azure‑based security engagements and guidance across governance, identity, and data protection. You will design and implement cloud security solutions, perform assessments, and produce architecture diagrams and remediation plans while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Travel up to 50% may be required; Azure certifications are preferred and sponsorship may be limited.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technical consulting, solution design or cloud security implementation across Azure/public/private/hybrid clouds.
• 4+ years designing enterprise cloud security architectures and strategies.
• 4+ years with Azure Policy, Terraform, or JSON-based configurations.
• 3+ years with CNAPP/CSPM/CWPP technologies.
• Experience architecting Azure security controls including AI services and IAM.
• Willingness to travel ~50% depending on client needs.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering (preferred).
• Azure/Security certifications valued (AZ-500, etc.).
• Cybersecurity certifications (CCSP, CISSP, etc.) valued.
• Experience with IAM and Azure data/AI services.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Azure cloud cyber risk engagements across governance, identity, application security, PaaS, infrastructure security, AI security, monitoring, resilience, and data protection.
• Perform cloud security assessments, design, implementations, health checks, and post-implementation reviews across Azure, Entra ID and Microsoft 365.
• Work with clients to assess security requirements, identify risks, and recommend cloud security configurations and remediation actions.
• Develop deliverables including assessment reports, architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, compliance reporting, and remediation docs.
• Contribute to business development, internal training, technical research, and other practice development activities in Microsoft cloud security.
